Strategy
Develop a user-generated video contest that highlights why the VMAs returning to NYC is important. Targeting 16-24 year olds in the 5 boroughs, they were tasked with submitting a creative video in which they state where in the city they would take their favorite VMA artist and why. These videos served as a showcase of many of the places, people, and cultures that make NYCso unique, and a reason why the city hosted the VMAs for so many years.
Results
In two weeks, this campaign got 86 video submissions and had over 78,000 video views and 1.9 million impressions among 16-24 year olds in NYC.
